Not all that glitters is gold

March 8, 2007

Do you know that silver was discovered only after gold and copper? Though it is only second best to gold, it has its own qualities that make it special too.  This precious metal is known to be malleable and easily tempered.  Even if it is light, it possesses great tensile strength and is resistant to most corrosive substances.  No wonder, it is widely aside used in jewelry business.  Aside from jewelry, silver is also used as coins.  The demand for silver nowadays has already exceeded the annual production since 1990.  That only shows that the value of silver is increasing. It doesn’t want to be left behind by its famous rival, the gold. Investing in silver isn’t that bad at all.
